About Singapore Pest Control

Singapore Pest Control (SPC), based at Bedok North Avenue, is a specialist in mosquito management and dengue prevention services for both residential and commercial clients, with a specific focus on the Aedes aegypti control programmes that are relevant to Singapore's year-round dengue risk. With 156 Google reviews at 4.8 stars, their mosquito management programme covers larviciding (treating standing water breeding sites with Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis, a biological larvicide safe around humans and pets), thermal fogging for adult mosquito knockdown, and habitat modification advisory to reduce breeding risk long-term. SPC's dengue prevention programme is particularly well-structured for landed property owners with gardens, where the combination of container gardening, fountain features, and covered areas creates multiple potential breeding sites that a single treatment visit cannot sustainably address without ongoing monitoring. Their twice-monthly larviciding programme, which focuses on standing water elimination and biological treatment of unavoidable water features, is more effective at long-term mosquito population suppression than the reactive fogging approach that most homeowners resort to only after mosquito activity increases.
