About Shaws Preschool @ Katong Post

Shaws Preschool @ Katong Post holds a 5.0-star Google rating across 5 reviews and operates from its Tanjong Katong Road campus near the historic Katong Post Office precinct. The Shaws curriculum has been developed over decades with a strong emphasis on character development and values formation alongside academic preparation, producing graduates who are not only ready for primary school but who bring a developed sense of responsibility, respect, and community-mindedness to that transition. This values integration distinguishes Shaws from operators whose character development commitments remain largely aspirational. The Tanjong Katong Road location positions the campus conveniently for families in the northern reaches of the Katong area, including the Tanjong Katong, Mountbatten, and Geylang Serai residential catchments. The centre's ECDA-licensed operation and its affiliation with the broader Shaws network provide parents with the assurance of an established quality management infrastructure while retaining the intimate, relationship-centred character of a boutique campus. Teachers at this campus maintain consistent communication with families and engage actively with parents as partners in each child's development: a practice that is central to the Shaws educational philosophy and that parent reviews confirm is reliably delivered.
