About Growing Up Gifted (GUG) Preschool @ Katong
Growing Up Gifted (GUG) Preschool at its Katong V campus holds a 5.0-star Google rating across 15 reviews, with a curriculum specifically designed to identify and nurture advanced learning capacity in young children while ensuring that the social and emotional dimensions of development receive equal attention. The GUG programme is built on the premise that gifted early learners have distinct educational needs that conventional preschool curricula do not address: specifically the need for deeper conceptual engagement, faster-paced instruction calibrated to their ability level, and enrichment activities that extend well beyond age-standard expectations without sacrificing the nurturing environment young children require. Located at Katong V on East Coast Road, the campus is positioned at the heart of the Katong shopping and residential precinct, making it convenient for families across the East Coast corridor. The GUG teaching team includes practitioners with experience in gifted education frameworks, and the programme integrates advanced literacy and numeracy alongside creative problem-solving, logical reasoning, and inquiry-based projects that give high-ability learners the cognitive challenge their development requires. For families who have observed above-average learning capacity in their child and want a preschool katong environment that will genuinely stretch rather than constrain that potential, GUG Katong is the clearest specialist option in the area.
