About English Explorer

English Explorer, based at International Plaza and operating alongside sister school Japanese Explorer, is one of the most-reviewed English language schools in Singapore, with 561 Google reviews at 4.8 stars. The school's English programme covers general English, business communication, IELTS preparation, and grammar-focused courses for non-native speakers at all levels. The International Plaza location puts it in the heart of the CBD, accessible to working professionals on weekday evenings. English Explorer's curriculum takes a skills-based approach: students work on speaking, writing, reading, and listening in integrated lessons rather than treating each skill in isolation. For non-native English speakers working or studying in Singapore who need to improve functional English communication, English Explorer is the most credible school on this list for that specific goal.

Customer Review

"My company required an IELTS score of 7.0 for a promotion. I enrolled at English Explorer with a current score of 6.0. After four months of evening classes, I sat the exam and scored 7.5. The teacher was direct about my weaknesses and gave targeted practice that made the difference."
