Tulou Reviews

About Tulou

Tulou operates from Goldhill Shopping Centre on Thomson Road with a perfect 5.0-star rating across 58 Google reviews. Unlike most firms here, Tulou does not sell vinyl, SPC, or engineered wood; it focuses entirely on composite timber for outdoor and balcony floors. Tulou distributes two composite lines, Tuwood, which it describes as German-engineered, and Culture, a premium American composite range, and it publishes a starting price of SGD 18 per square foot, depending on specification and substructure. Tulou's technical details answer the questions buyers should ask every contractor. Its boards are four-sided capped, so the polymer shell wraps every face for better stain and moisture resistance. Installation uses an aluminium substructure rather than timber joists, with hidden fastening and a slip-resistant surface suited to wet Singapore balconies. For homeowners who know they want composite outdoor flooring and want a firm that specialises in nothing else, Tulou is the most focused option we reviewed.

Customer Review

"Tulou showed us a cut sample of capped and uncapped boards so we could see why the capping matters. Our west-facing balcony floor gets direct afternoon sun and after a year the colour still matches the spare board we kept indoors."
