About Raffles Singapore
Raffles Singapore on Beach Road is one of the world's most famous hotels and one of Singapore's most important heritage buildings, a National Monument that first opened in 1887 and has hosted figures from Somerset Maugham and Rudyard Kipling to contemporary heads of state. The hotel holds a 4.6-star Google rating from 6,814 reviews following its comprehensive restoration completed in 2019. All 115 accommodation options are suites, making Raffles the only all-suite hotel of its category in Singapore, with high ceilings, private parlours, and colonial-era fittings that no modern hotel can authentically replicate. The Long Bar, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail, remains a genuine landmark experience. The hotel's butler service, multiple F&B venues including BBR by Alain Ducasse, and the Raffles Arcade shopping gallery are all integral parts of the staycation experience. For guests who understand that a hotel can be a destination in its own right, Raffles Singapore has no equal on the island.
