Guang Fa Laksa 廣發叻沙 Reviews

About Guang Fa Laksa 廣發叻沙

Guang Fa Laksa 廣發叻沙 operates from Block 22A Havelock Road, a neighbourhood that sits between Chinatown and the River Valley corridor, and serves a resident clientele that has supported the stall across years of consistent hawker operation. At 4.3 stars across 145 Google reviews, the stall earns a solid rating that reflects genuine quality rather than a large marketing push. The laksa follows a traditional recipe with a broth that balances coconut milk, lemongrass, and dried shrimp rempah, producing a bowl that is rich without being cloying. The Havelock Road location is less trafficked by tourists than the Katong or Chinatown options on this list, which means shorter queues and a more relaxed eating environment. A reliable choice for residents in the Tiong Bahru, Outram, and Robertson Quay areas who want a quality neighbourhood laksa without travelling across town.

Customer Review

"A solid neighbourhood laksa stall that does not get enough attention. The broth is fragrant and well-balanced, the toppings are fresh, and there is never a long queue. Exactly what a good local stall should be."
