Forest School Singapore Reviews

About Forest School Singapore

Forest School Singapore at Dairy Farm Road holds a 5.0 Google rating and operates with a dedicated commitment to pure forest school methodology: a programme model that places children in genuine forest environments for the majority of their learning time, not just scheduled outdoor sessions within a conventional childcare structure. Its location at Dairy Farm Road, adjacent to the Dairy Farm Nature Park and within the Central Catchment Nature Reserve buffer zone, gives it access to the richest natural learning environment of any operator on this list. This setting is not incidental: it is the curriculum. Children at Forest School Singapore engage with the forest floor, canopy layers, water features, and ecological communities of one of Singapore's most biologically diverse terrestrial corridors. The forest school model practised here follows the international forest school framework: a structured pedagogical approach with trained forest school leaders, risk-benefit assessment, and a learning philosophy built around child-led exploration in natural environments. The programme is intensive and specialised, making it best suited to families who are committed to the forest school philosophy rather than families seeking a nature-themed supplement to a standard academic preschool curriculum. For those families, Forest School Singapore offers an experience that no urban childcare centre: however well-designed its outdoor space: can replicate. Hours should be checked directly with the school as session schedules vary.
