About BLACKGOAT

BLACKGOAT at 4A Jalan Batu in Mountbatten is east Singapore's strongest burger option, rated 4.4 stars across 618 Google reviews. The Mountbatten location sits between the Katong and East Coast Park corridors, making it a natural stop for residents and visitors in the eastern part of the island. BLACKGOAT's menu focuses on crafted beef smash burgers with premium toppings and house sauces, served in a compact, no-frills space that prioritises the product over the decor. Review commentary consistently highlights the quality of the patty and the value for money relative to comparable burger spots in more central locations. The 618-review base at 4.4 stars reflects a restaurant with a loyal repeat customer following rather than a one-time viral moment, which is the stronger quality signal. For anyone based in Geylang, Katong, or the East Coast area, BLACKGOAT is the best burger option in the neighbourhood and makes a compelling case for an east-side detour.

Customer Review

"BLACKGOAT is the best burger in the east by a comfortable margin. The smash patties are consistently well executed, the portions are generous, and the pricing is fair. I live nearby and order here at least twice a month."
